Governor’s Upcoming Schedule Includes Local Event
Governor Henry McMaster, accompanied by the U.S. Assistant Secretary of Commerce, is scheduled to attend the CordenPharma Expansion Groundbreaking in North Augusta, S.C. The event is set for Tuesday, September 22, at 10:30 AM.
The Governor’s schedule for the week of September 21 also includes other engagements. On Wednesday, September 23, Governor McMaster will attend the 2026 Commanders Briefing at the University of South Carolina Alumni Center in Columbia, S.C., at 10:00 AM. Later that day, at 2:30 PM, he is slated to attend the Council of State Archivists meeting, also in Columbia, S.C.
In the preceding week, the Governor had several public appearances. On Tuesday, September 15, Governor McMaster announced the recipients of South Carolina’s Rural Health Transformation Program funding in Newberry, S.C., at 11:00 AM. Following this, at 12:00 PM, he visited the renovations for the new teaching clinic, Newberry Rural Family Medicine Residency, also in Newberry, S.C. That evening, at 6:30 PM, Governor McMaster spoke at the National Speakers’ Conference in Greenville, S.C.
On Wednesday, September 16, Governor McMaster attended the Conservation Voters of South Carolina’s 2026 Green Tie Award Luncheon in Columbia, S.C., at 12:00 PM. Later, at 3:30 PM, he presented the Order of the Palmetto to former State Representative Patricia Moore Henegan in Columbia, S.C.
