Charleston, S.C. — A national casting push for Love Island USA Season 9 is aiming at Lowcountry singles who want a shot at the Peacock dating competition next summer.
Applicants would leave everyday life behind for a shared villa in Fiji, form couples, face challenges and risk being voted off. Viewers help decide who stays. The show is produced with ITV America, and City Media Entertainment is handling the talent search.
People 18 and older can submit through loveislandusa.castingcrane.com. Nominations for a friend or relative go by email to [email protected] with the nominee’s name, how you know them, contact details and social handles, or via the casting Instagram account.
Season 9 is slated for summer 2027. Peacock reported nearly 19 billion minutes watched for Season 8 in 2026. Charleston already sent Caleb McDaniel into that season as a bombshell islander.
Casting notes say prior TV work is not required. Other recent dating franchises have also pulled talent from the Charleston area, according to local coverage of past casts.
