Cooper River Bridge Run Kids Run and Family Festival Scheduled
The Cooper River Bridge Run will host a Kids Run and Family Festival on November 8 at Riverfront Park. The event is scheduled from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and is free to attend. Activities will include family yoga, various outdoor activities, and games. Harris Teeter will provide light snacks and water.
Races are set to begin at 2:30 p.m., starting with the Mascot Race, followed by the Toddler Waddler, and then the 400-Meter Race. Children who wish to participate in the races and receive a free t-shirt must register. Medals will be awarded to all who cross the finish line. North Charleston Mayor Reggie Burgess expressed pride in welcoming the Cooper River Bridge Run Kids Run to Riverfront Park. The event is planned to be hosted on Sunday, November 8, 2026, with Riverfront Park serving as its long-term home. Parking for the event at Riverfront Park is located at 2880 North B Avenue in North Charleston.
