NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. — Drivers heading through the Palmetto Commerce area of North Charleston were told to find another way after a collision shut down part of Weber Boulevard.
The North Charleston Police Department blocked the road from Palmetto Commerce Parkway to Patriot Boulevard while officers looked into what happened. Police described the injuries from the wreck as minor.
The closed section sits near the Weber Boulevard and Palmetto Commerce Parkway intersection, which carries a Ladson mailing address, on the upper end of the city near the Berkeley and Dorchester county lines.
Officers had not said what caused the collision or how many vehicles were involved. Police asked motorists to stay clear of the area until the road reopens.
