Charleston Construction Company Sells Subsidiary to National Distributor
Based in Charleston, Energy One America, the country’s largest privately held provider of foam insulation and air barrier solutions, has recently announced the sale of its subsidiary, Texas Insulation, to TopBuild Corp.
This strategic decision was reportedly taken in consideration of Texas Insulation’s rapid expansion and revenue generation. The subsidiary has been successful in bringing in nearly $39 million in annual revenue. The acquisition by TopBuild Corp will allow Energy One America to concentrate on its nationwide commercial work.
Recognizing Potential
Clint Allen, CEO of Energy One America, stated, “Exceptional growth in both reach and revenue made this a necessary strategic decision. We believe this will be an important investment for TopBuild and one that allows Energy One America to focus on its portfolio of nationwide commercial work.”
Seamless Transition
In a bid to assure smooth business operations and to uphold the established reputation for providing quality work and communication, the existing leadership team of Texas Insulation, helmed by President Abe Nevarez, will transition to TopBuild Corp. However, financial details concerning the sale remain undisclosed.
Analyzing the change, President Abe Nevarez affirmed, “The Texas Insulation brand is strong and we are enthusiastic about our continued growth as part of the TopBuild team. We plan to further develop TopBuild’s Texas footprint, while continuing to provide a best-in-class experience to our customers.”
Energy One America, established in 2001, has made its mark as a national provider of sustainable and innovative solutions to the commercial building envelope sector.
A Win-Win Scenario
The sale of Texas Insulation to TopBuild Corp. demonstrates a strategic move that benefits both parties. Energy One America can revitalize its focus on its nationwide commercial projects, while Texas Insulation can experience further growth under an already established and successful entity like TopBuild Corp.
The sale also ensures the preservation of Texas Insulation’s brand value and customer trust, while simultaneously paving the way for TopBuild Corp to strengthen its presence in the Texas market.
The deal signifies a promising future for all concerned stakeholders, and it is anticipated that they will continue to set high standards in the commercial building sector.
