US Equity Futures Rise as Tech Stocks Rebound

US equity futures showed an upward trend pre-bell on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, driven by a rebound in technology-related stocks following a previous session’s selloff. Dow Jones Industrial Average futures increased by 0.5%, S&P 500 futures were up 0.5%, and Nasdaq futures saw a 1% rise.

This market movement occurred as traders processed recent economic announcements and earnings reports. US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent announced new economic sanctions against Iran on Monday, stating that other nations must cease business with Iran or face exclusion from the dollar-based financial system. He did not specify the countries but indicated a compliance timeline.
