College of Charleston Cougars Continue Road Swing with CAA Series at Towson
CHARLESTON, S.C. – The College of Charleston is gearing up for its second consecutive CAA road series as the Cougars prepare to take on Towson starting Friday at 3 p.m. This series will be followed by games on Saturday and Sunday, both at 1 p.m. With a record of 31-11 overall and 14-4 in CAA play, the Cougars find themselves tied for first place with UNCW, with Northeastern closely trailing by just one game. While UNCW hosts Campbell this weekend, Northeastern will be facing off against NC A&T.

Charleston has been on fire recently, winning their last five CAA series and triumphing in 13 out of 15 conference games during this stretch. Overall, the Cougars have secured victories in 17 of their last 19 matchups. This successful run has pushed them past the 30-win mark for the 20th time in the last 22 full seasons. April saw the Cougars finish at 20 games over .500 for the first time since 2015.
Over the course of the past 19 games, Charleston has outscored their opponents by a significant margin of 178-73. They have reached double figures in runs on nine occasions and have held their opponents to three or fewer runs in 10 games. This dominant performance has firmly established the Cougars as a force to be reckoned with in the CAA.
