Columbia, South Carolina – The University of South Carolina (USC) is celebrating the continued success of its International MBA program, which has secured the No. 1 national ranking in the United States for the eleventh consecutive year, according to the 2025 Best Graduate School rankings released by U.S. News & World Report. This achievement underscores USC’s position as a leader in graduate education, as it boasts more nationally ranked graduate programs than all other colleges and universities in South Carolina combined.

USC’s Darla Moore School of Business, which houses the International MBA program, has maintained a top-three ranking for 36 consecutive years. This consistency reflects the program’s commitment to providing high-quality education through a blend of in-country immersion experiences and global coursework made possible through a wide network of partner institutions worldwide. Students enrolled in the International MBA program are exposed to a rich learning environment, benefiting from faculty who possess decades of business experience and come from diverse industry backgrounds.

The curriculum of the International MBA program is designed to equip graduates with both technical expertise and essential soft skills. Through a focus on business analytics and quantitative proficiency, students are prepared to face the challenges of the modern business world. The immersive international experiences add a practical dimension to their learning, enhancing their ability to operate effectively in global markets.

Aside from the International MBA recognition, USC’s other graduate programs have also shown significant improvements in rankings. The Molinaroli College of Engineering and Computing made a notable leap of 12 spots to achieve No. 81 overall and No. 49 among public universities. Among its engineering disciplines, the civil engineering program rose 14 spots to No. 73, while the nuclear engineering program improved its position to No. 21.

The College of Education has also distinguished itself, improving to No. 27 in the overall best graduate education schools category, marking a significant 60-spot improvement over the past three years. Additionally, the Joseph F. Rice School of Law has climbed to No. 63 nationally, with its trial advocacy program now positioned at No. 12.

USC’s College of Nursing has demonstrated strong performance as well, with its doctor of nursing practice program improving by six spots to No. 36, while its master’s program ranked No. 23 nationally. The College of Nursing has been recognized as the top program for its online master’s offering for five consecutive years, showcasing its continued commitment to quality education.

Furthermore, the Darla Moore School of Business also achieved recognition for its graduate-level operations and supply chain program, which ranked No. 18, and the part-time MBA program, which secured No. 23 in the national standings. These diverse advancements across various disciplines confirm USC’s emphasis on academic excellence and its dedication to continuously enhancing its graduate programs.

This commitment to quality education is further reflected in USC’s impressive fundraising achievements, having raised over $1.297 billion toward future initiatives. This significant funding underscores the university’s efforts to support its academic programs and ensure that students receive the best possible education.
