Annually, the festival issues about 50,000 tickets, bringing the total to 483,785 tickets issued since 2016, highlighting its popularity among attendees.

Highlighted performances this year included director Rodula Gaitanou’s production of Benjamin Britten’s “The Turn of the Screw”, which is among the world premieres showcased. Manual Cinema also shared their unique adaptation of Macbeth with innovative shadow puppetry. Renowned artist Patti Smith performed a special pop-up concert at Second Presbyterian Church, sharing personal stories and music that reflects her artistic journey.

Additionally, the festival’s Front Row Series has presented celebrated musicians such as Corinne Bailey Rae and Valerie June, both of whom captivated audiences at the Cistern Yard.
