Kenneth Da’Quan Gilliard, 23, was taken into custody on May 1, 2025, following an investigation that established his connection to the shooting. He faces serious charges, including murder, three counts of first-degree assault and battery, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime.

Gilliard’s arrest follows that of Tyris Asbury, 39, who was apprehended on April 28, 2025, and also charged with three counts of first-degree assault and battery related to the shooting incident. Both suspects are currently being held at the Al Cannon Detention Center.
