Chef-owner Tres Jackson has designed a menu that focuses on local ingredients, offering four- or six-course tasting options. Recent dishes include Royal Red shrimp paired with kimchi beurre blanc, summer squash served with green mole, and sea scallops complimented by hazelnut butter and red miso.

Moving to the heart of the city, Grit Bakery has opened at 601 Meeting Street with the intention of becoming a beloved neighborhood establishment. Founded by baker Allison Anspach, Grit Bakery emphasizes seasonal ingredients sourced from local producer Grow Food.
