Davis was born on February 21, 1999, in Charleston, South Carolina. He is survived by his parents, Robert Sloan Reeves and Laurin Golding Reeves, as well as his brother Keaton S. Reeves, sister Rachel B. Reeves (and her fiancé, Ryan Matherly), and maternal grandmother, Mary Gloria Golding, all of whom reside in Charleston. Additionally, he is survived by his paternal grandparents, Robert B. Reeves and Trudie B. Reeves of Bamberg, SC. Davis was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Bill C. Golding of Columbia, and paternal grandparents Thomas G. and Sylvia F. Davis of Wadmalaw Island.
Having shown remarkable academic promise, Davis graduated as the valedictorian from Coastal Christian Preparatory School in 2017. He continued his education at the University of South Carolina, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in retail management in 2021 with honors. Following his graduation, he moved to Greenville, SC, and began working as a manager for Kohl’s. In February 2023, he transitioned to employment as a relationship banker at Bank of America, serving in that role until his untimely passing.
Davis was known for his vibrant personality and kind heart. He loved spending time with friends and family, as well as his beloved cat, PeeWee. An avid sports fan, he particularly enjoyed supporting the Gamecocks and frequently attended Carolina games with his family. He was also recognized for his sense of style and pride in his appearance. Davis took an active role in his community by volunteering for events organized through his workplace.
Described as an extrovert with a free spirit, those who knew Davis appreciated his joyful energy, which had a positive impact on those around him.
