ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — Baltimore went through three quarterbacks before halftime Sunday in Buffalo, and the Ravens may have to start the third one in four days. The Bills rolled to a 36-10 win as the Ravens dropped their third straight game.

Lamar Jackson was hurt on the very first offensive snap when he jammed the thumb on his throwing hand against the arm of a Bills pass rusher. Coach Jesse Minter said after the game that Jackson will have surgery and go on injured reserve, and he could miss the rest of the season.

Backup Tyler Huntley then left in the second quarter with a toe injury. That pushed undrafted rookie Joe Fagnano, the emergency third quarterback, into his NFL debut with no first-team practice reps that week.

Facing heavy Buffalo pressure, Fagnano completed 10 of 21 throws for 91 yards, was picked off once and coughed up one fumble. He also picked up a lower-body injury on an illegal hit in the second half but stayed in. Baltimore finished with only 144 yards of offense and converted 3 of 13 third downs.

The rookie opened eyes in the preseason, when he led every NFL passer with 509 yards over three games. He could get his first start Thursday night when the Ravens host first-place Jacksonville at M&T Bank Stadium, with Huntley status unclear.

For Buffalo, Josh Allen threw for 289 yards and two touchdowns and ran for another. The scoring passes pushed his career total, playoffs included, to 260, passing Jim Kelly for the franchise record. The Bills improved to 6-1 and lead the AFC East.
