North Charleston, S.C. — Breeze Airways plans year-round nonstop service between Charleston International Airport and Buffalo, New York, starting July 2, 2027, the airline and airport said Tuesday.

Flights will run Mondays and Fridays with one-way fares starting at $69. The Buffalo route becomes the carrier’s 30th nonstop destination from Charleston and joins a network that already reaches 34 markets from CHS.

Elliott Summey, president and chief executive officer of Charleston International Airport, said the link will connect Charleston and Buffalo by nonstop air service for the first time and open travel opportunities in both markets.

Breeze founder and CEO David Neeleman said new routes aim to bring direct service where travelers do not already have it. Airport officials noted Breeze has added Trenton, Atlantic City and Fort Lauderdale service this year and has recorded nearly 20 percent growth in Charleston seats so far in 2026.

Buffalo sits near Niagara Falls and about 108 miles from Toronto, a draw Breeze commercial leaders cited for leisure and business demand into the Lowcountry.
