# Arvaya AI plans North Charleston growth, 6 new tech jobs

A Charleston-founded artificial intelligence consulting firm is opening a workshop-focused office in North Charleston, a small but locally significant footprint expansion that is projected to bring six new technology jobs to Charleston County over the next two years.

Arvaya AI Automations Consulting will operate the new location at 4016 Salt Pointe Parkway, according to a Charleston County announcement issued on September 9. The company, an SBE-certified and woman-owned firm founded in 2025, said the average wage for the new roles will be approximately $92,000 and that hiring is already underway in project management, software development, data engineering, cybersecurity, training, operations, and business development. The company is directing applicants to its LinkedIn page.

Founder and chief executive Ashlee Jack said she is building the practice around a specific complaint she hears from clients — that new technology investments too often produce disconnected systems and stalled workflows. Jack said many companies are pouring money into technology only to end up with systems that will not communicate with one another, teams still stuck in manual processes, and data that remains difficult to use. She said Arvaya’s work centers on connecting technology, automating repetitive work, and giving teams the training to use AI tools effectively. As a Charleston native, she said she is proud to build that practice locally and bring more technology, innovation, and career opportunities to the Lowcountry.

The project marks one of the first uses of Charleston County Economic Development’s newly launched Job Development Incentive, a program the county designed to support small and growing companies adding quality technology jobs. Executive Director Merle Johnson said the incentive was built to help growing companies invest and create quality jobs in the county, and he congratulated Arvaya on its expansion. Charleston County Council Chairman Joe Boykin welcomed the announcement in the context of the county’s broader technology-sector growth strategy, and North Charleston Mayor Reggie Burgess said the city was proud to welcome a woman-owned business bringing innovation, workforce development, and new opportunities to the community.

Beyond the six billable jobs, the Salt Pointe Parkway site is being planned as a community and workforce venue. The firm said the office will host workshops and community education programs focused on responsible AI adoption, including sessions aimed at small business owners weighing where automation can save time in day-to-day work. Arvaya’s areas of specialty include AI adoption, automation, data management, and data migration, and it works alongside clients on integrating systems, improving data infrastructure, and implementing AI tools across a workforce.
